Join us for a fantastic evening of football, food, music and family fun, all in support of Cancer Research UK.

On Saturday 22 August 2026, we’ll be hosting a charity football event that’s open to everyone. Whether you’re coming along to support the players, enjoy some great food or get involved in the half-time challenges, it’s set to be a brilliant evening for the whole community.

The main event will be a full 11-a-side football match, with members from Long Stratton, Framingham Earl Sports Centre and Diss Swim Centre taking on Kett’s Park and Wymondham Leisure Centre. Kick-off is at 6.30pm, so come along, cheer on your team and enjoy the atmosphere.

There will also be plenty happening throughout the evening, including live music from a DJ, hot food vendors serving BBQ favourites such as burgers and hot dogs, hot desserts including waffles and crepes, an ice cream van, sweet stall and soft drinks.

At half-time, we’ll be holding fun football challenges, including crossbar and penalty challenges, with mini prizes up for grabs. Raffle winners will also be announced during the half-time break, with prizes including an annual membership, day passes, court bookings, swim sessions and more.
