Long Stratton Leisure Centre and Diss Swim Centre will be closing early on Friday 31 January
On Friday 31 January, Long Stratton Leisure Centre and Diss Swim Centre will be closing early at 6:00pm. This is due to an annual staff event held by the Council to celebrate the hard work that goes on across South Norfolk and Broadland District Councils, including the exceptional efforts of our staff at South Norfolk Leisure.
Wymondham Leisure Centre, Kett’s Park and Framingham Earl Sports Centre will remain open as normal.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this. ThBoth e centres will open as usual on Saturday morning.
Kett’s Park hall will be closed from 6 – 15 January
We are making some improvements to the Main Hall at Kett’s Park with new line painting. This means the hall will be closed from Monday 6 January to Wendesday 15 January. No classes will be taking place at Kett’s Park during this time.

Main Hall and Studio 3/4 floor refurbishmnet works at Wymondham Leisure Centre
We are making some improvements to the Main Hall and Studio 3/4 by refurbishing the floors. As a result, these areas of the centre will be closed from Monday 23 December to Friday 3 January. This will result in some changes to our class timetable with some classes relocated and some cancelled.

Gift them unlimited access to all of our leisure centres for 3 months. The lucky recipient can redeem the voucher any time by the 31st January 2025 and begin making the most of the facilities on offer.

These vouchers are pre-paid membership vouchers meaning their is no contract or monthly payments to be made. The membership will simply expire 3 months after the recipient has redeemed the voucher in the centre. At this point, if they wish to join as a permanent member they can do so.
Vouchers can be purchased from reception at Wymondham Leisure Centre, Long Stratton Leisure Centre or Framingham Earl Sports Centre. Vouchers are not available to purchase at Diss Leisure Centre due to the current closure.

We’re accepting new pupils to join Diss Swim School from January
With Diss Swim Centre due to reoepn on 13 January 2025, we are now accepting new Swim School pupils to begin lessons upon reopening.
- A free swimming hat, badge, and certificate as your child progresses through the stages
- Free admission to any general swimming session for the pupil and one parent
- Lessons running 50 weeks a year
Try South Norfolk Leisure for free on National Fitness Day
Wednesday 18 September is home to National Fitness Day, and to celebrate we are giving non-members the chance to give fitness a try for free!
Free Gym and Swim
At Wymondham Leisure Centre and Long Stratton Leisure Centre, you can enjoy a free session in the gym. Why not come down and make the most of our modern facilities and lift some weights, or perhaps go for a quick run on the treadmill?
On the day, you can also enjoy a free swim during any of our lane swim times at Wymondham Leisure Centre. The pool timetable can be found here.
How do I take advantage of this offer?
To take advantage of this offer, simply visit your chosen centre on Wednesday 18 September and let reception know you are there for a National Fitness Day free pass. Our friendly team will then take some details and get you set up. If you wish to use the pool, please ensure you only attend during one of the lane swimming times listed on the timetable.
This offer is open to everyone so come and make the most of it on National Fitness Day!
National Fitness Day Gym Challenge
For existing members, you can get involved in National Fitness Day by taking on our gym challenge! On the day, Wymondham Leisure Centre and Long Stratton Leisure Centre will go head-to-head to see which centre can row the furthest.
To get involved, speak to a member of the Fitness Team on the day. There will be prizes up for grabs for the individuals who row the furthest, and bragging rights for the winning centre!

Summer Fun Day at Kett’s Park
South Norfolk Health & Wellbeing Partnership, and South Norfolk Leisure, are hosting a Summer Fun Day at Kett’s Park on the 31 August! The Fun Day will run from 10:00 – 14:00 and is FREE to attend!
A range of health and wellbeing partners and local community groups will be in attendance offering activities for kids as well as information for residents on the support available locally.

Children’s Activities
There will be plenty to keep the kids busy including outdoor games from our Kids Camp team.
Bubble Football and Free Play Football will be available on the 3G pitch from 10:00 – 12:00.
A bouncy castle will be free to use in the main hall from 12:00 – 14:00.
Free Sponsored Classes at Wymondham Leisure Centre
We are supporting the local cancer support charity, Star Throwers, with two back-to-back sponsored classes!
Join us on Sunday 25 August in the Main Hall and take part in these free to attend classes, instructed by Chloe. Classes are open to both members and non-members.
