Kett’s Park Expansion
COMING SOON
South Norfolk Council is in the early stages of an exciting proposed development and extension project at Kett’s Park. The project is currently in the pre-construction phase, with plans being developed to explore how facilities at the site could be improved for customers, clubs and the wider community.
All plans are currently proposed and remain subject to the relevant planning permissions. Some elements of the project are also subject to external funding being secured.
We’re excited to share the plans with you and will continue to provide updates as the project progresses.
A better facility for the community
The proposed development includes a range of improvements designed to enhance the facilities available at Kett’s Park.
Some of the proposed works include:
- An additional 11v11 3G pitch to help meet the current shortfall in 3G facilities in the local area
- A larger café area for visitors to enjoy
- The conversion of the existing sports hall into a soft play facility
- A new multi-purpose room, designed to support a range of activities including fitness classes, birthday parties, meetings and private hire opportunities
- Building reconfiguration
- New pathways around the site to improve accessibility and encourage informal exercise.
Proposed Building Layout
The floor plan below shows how the building layout could look if the proposed project goes ahead.
Please note, this layout is for illustrative purposes only and may be subject to change as the project progresses through the pre-construction and planning stages.
