Bananas Soft Play is reopen and has some exciting new features for your little ones to enjoy. This includes a new up and over climbing net and pyramid decks, plus so much more.

Bananas Soft Play is getting some exciting new features added. Therefore, in order for the work to be completed, the area will be closed from the 10 to 12 October, reopening on 13 October.

Roller skating is back at Long Stratton Leisure Centre this weekend. To celebrate its return, we are making our first sessions free! We have two sessions running – one for beginners, followed by a free skate session.

The times are as follows:
Beginners – 9:30 to 10:30
Open skate – 11:00 to 12:30

Skate hire is available for £2 if required, however we encourage you to bring your own if possible. Please note, a waiver will need to be signed at the time of booking. For children under 16, this will need to be signed by an adult.

Our EGYM suite has officially opened at Long Stratton Leisure Centre! This state-of-the-art fitness equipment offers a truly personalized workout, with the machines automatically adapting to you based on your body metrics and fitness goals.

South Norfolk Leisure is currently the only operator of EGYM in Norfolk, and we can’t wait for more of our members to give it a try. EGYM can be used by anyone with a full membership, and we will soon be introducing junior sessions so those aged 13 to 16 can also make the most of this excellent equipment.

What is EGYM?

EGYM is gym equipment powered by smart technology. Using the Fitness Hub, you can input simple health data and your fitness goals and EGYM will then do all the hard working in preparing a personalised workout for you. Just log in to each piece of equipment using your wristband and the machine will automatically adjust to you, setting the correct weight and adjusting its position to fit your body.

EGYM is designed to be completed as a circuit. At Long Stratton there are 9 stations, with two circuits taking around 30 minutes, making EGYM perfect for those who are short on time. You can track your progress on the Fitness Hub in the gym or via the EGYM app allowing you to stay on track to achieve your goals.

The EAMA 10k run is back for 2023! Our popular Wymondham based 10k run, sponsored by East Anglian Motor Auction, is a great event which sees runners completing a one lap circuit starting on Lady’s Lane in Wymondham and looping round the picturesque countryside near Morley.

This years race will take place on Sunday 19 November 2023. Tickets are £17 for affiliated runners and £19 for non-affiliated. Or why not tackle the EAMA 10k as a group of 4 and take on the corporate challenge for only £60.

Bookings are now open for our Summer Swimming Activities at Diss Leisure Centre!

Whether your child needs help improving a particular stroke or moving from one stage to the next, our summer activities timetable has a range of intensive lessons, as well as fun sessions with flippers and noodles!

Sessions are just £5 per child and can be booked by calling our reception team on 01379 652754.

Bookings are now open for our summer Kids Camp! The team are busy planning lots of fun activities, ready to welcome children at Wymondham Leisure Centre and Long Stratton Leisure Centre. Every day there are different craft activities on offer alongside sports for hours of fun.

Children at Wymondham Leisure Centre also get to take part in a fun swimming session every day and children at Long Stratton have a session in the soft play area with exclusive use. We are Ofsted registered, meaning we can take payment with childcare vouchers offering more flexibility.
